Refund Policy

This page explains MAV's refund policy in plain language. The full legal terms are in our [Terms of Service](/terms). If the two ever conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

Summary

  • MAV subscriptions are **non-refundable**, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
  • We offer a **30-day billing-error review window**. If you were charged in error (duplicate charge, charge after cancellation, wrong tier), email us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and correct it.
  • You can **cancel anytime** from Settings → Billing. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.
  • We do **not** auto-issue prorated refunds for cancellations mid-cycle. Your subscription stays active until the period ends.

When we will issue refunds

  • **Billing errors.** Duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, or charges to the wrong tier — refunded in full upon verification.
  • **Failed account access from a MAV-side outage.** If MAV is materially unavailable for a sustained period (multi-day outage caused by MAV, not your network or third-party provider) we will credit or refund affected days at our discretion.
  • **Legally required refunds.** If your jurisdiction grants statutory cooling-off or refund rights for digital subscriptions, those rights apply regardless of this policy. We honor them.

When we will not issue refunds

  • Changing your mind after using the product for the billing period.
  • Not using the product during the billing period.
  • Disagreement with AI Coach output, sentiment labels, or backtesting results — these are educational tools, not advice (see [Risk Disclosure](/risk-disclosure)).
  • Trading losses of any kind. MAV does not place trades and does not provide financial advice.
  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal — but we will help you cancel immediately to prevent the next charge.

How to request a billing review

Email **marketmavericks11@gmail.com** with:

  • The email address on your MAV account
  • The date and amount of the charge in question
  • A brief description of the issue

We aim to respond within 24 hours during the open beta.

How to cancel

1. Sign in to MAV.

2. Go to **Settings → Billing**.

3. Click **Cancel subscription**.

4. You will receive a confirmation email from Stripe.

5. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

If you cannot access Settings for any reason, email **marketmavericks11@gmail.com** and we will cancel manually.

Stripe is the payment processor

All payments are processed by [Stripe](https://stripe.com). When we issue a refund it appears on the same payment method Stripe charged. Refund processing time depends on your card issuer or bank (typically 5–10 business days).

Open beta caveat

MAV is in open beta. We are confident in the product, but if a major feature you specifically subscribed for is materially broken and we cannot fix it in a reasonable window, contact us — we will work out a fair resolution.
