This Privacy Policy explains how Market Mavericks ("Market Mavericks," "MAV," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use marketmavericks.org, MAV, and any related websites, applications, dashboards, trade journal tools, artificial intelligence features, subscriptions, communications, and services.

By using MAV, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MAV.

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information.

Account information

We may collect your name, email address, username, password or authentication information, profile settings, preferences, subscription status, and account identifiers.

Payment and subscription information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. We may receive limited billing information such as subscription plan, payment status, invoice records, billing email, billing address, last four digits of a payment method, transaction identifiers, and tax-related information. We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers.

Trading journal and app data

If you use MAV, we may collect information you enter, upload, import, or generate, including:

  • Trade records.
  • CSV files.
  • Broker export data.
  • Symbols, instruments, timestamps, entries, exits, fees, P&L, notes, tags, screenshots, strategy names, emotions, mistakes, goals, playbooks, and journal entries.
  • Dashboard settings, widgets, filters, watchlists, preferences, and analytics results.
  • Questions, prompts, and responses involving MAV Coach or other AI features.

Market and feature interaction data

We may collect information about how you interact with MAV, such as pages viewed, features used, buttons clicked, session activity, import history, AI message usage, subscription events, error logs, and performance diagnostics.

Device and technical information

We may collect IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referring URLs, pages visited, session identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, cookies, and similar technologies.

Communications

If you contact us, we may collect your message, email address, contact information, attachments, support history, and related records.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from service providers, authentication providers, payment processors, analytics providers, market data providers, email tools, or other integrations you use with MAV.

How we use information

AI processing

MAV may use third-party artificial intelligence providers to process prompts, journal data, trade data, screenshots, notes, and other information you submit or generate when using AI features.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should not include sensitive personal information in AI prompts unless necessary for your use of MAV.

Where available, we configure AI providers and internal systems to support product functionality, security, and privacy. However, third-party AI providers may process data according to their own terms, policies, and technical controls.

How we share information

We may share information with the following categories of recipients.

Service providers

We may share information with vendors that help us provide MAV, including hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, payment processors, market data providers, AI providers, analytics providers, email providers, logging tools, customer support tools, and security tools.

Payment processors

Payment information is processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Their use of your information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or abuse, respond to lawful requests, or address security issues.

Business transfers

We do not sell trading data

We do not sell your trading journal data. We do not share your individual trade history with advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate MAV, keep you logged in, remember preferences, secure accounts, analyze usage, improve performance, and support marketing or attribution where permitted.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide MAV, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent fraud, and support business operations.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify information as required by applicable law, subject to exceptions such as legal obligations, security records, backups, payment records, dispute records, and legitimate business needs.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
